The chilling moment teen rapist stalks his victim in Armadale

A Perth mother has come face to face with her rapist, telling him she thought she was going to die.

The predator attacked the woman as she walked down an Armadale street.

Today he was sentenced to jail, but he could be out in less than a year.

The chilling moment 19-year-old Robin Clarke stalked his victim was caught on a security camera.

It was 4.58 in the afternoon. Seconds later the teenager asked the 47-year-old woman for the time before forcing her to the ground and raping her.

She was left with broken ribs, internal bleeding and bruising.

Today the woman came face to face with her rapist in court as he was jailed for 4.5 years.

She told the court she thought she was going to die, that she feels dirty and ashamed and she can still smell him.

She said she'd had cancer but dealing with this was harder and more traumatic and had taken a huge toll on her mental health.

The attack took place in front of horrified onlookers. As the victim screamed, people rushed to help.

Some of those people were in court today to support the victim. She embraced them, telling them they'd saved her life.

With time already served Robin Clarke, who's intellectually impaired, could be released on parole in less than a year.
