Local favourites Caravana Sun hope to get punters at Boston Brewery up and grooving with a high-energy performance at the popular Denmark venue tomorrow night.

The Sydney-based band recently returned from their fourth overseas tour performing at sold-out festival and club shows, so their Denmark gig will be a change of pace, but a welcome one, according to guitarist and vocalist Luke Carra.

"It's no secret we love playing in (Denmark)," he said.

"The audiences in Denmark and Albany have always been really responsive to Caravana Sun and have always given us so much energy not only at the shows but after the shows.

"We've drawn a lot of inspiration for songs from the local landscapes like Elephant Rocks and Ocean Beach."

Carra said he was looking forward to playing at a fun, family-friendly venue.

"(Boston Brewery) has been really cool - it's really nice doing shows where it's all ages, where there are kids," he said.

"The crowd vibe is more of a community celebration rather than a night out on the booze, so we always really enjoy that."

The four-piece are working on their third album, which is set for release early next year.

See Caravana Sun at the Boston Brewery Denmark on September 11 at 5pm.

Tickets cost $22.50 from Boston Brewery on 9848 1555 or [www.trybooking.com|www.trybooking.com].

No ticket sales on the door.
