Denmark A will be out to continue their dominance of the Great Southern Soccer Association women’s top division when they face Rovers A in the cup final tomorrow night.

The powerhouse team of the last decade will aim to win the league and cup double after another brilliant season in the division-one competition.

Denmark have won three of the past five cup finals with their only blemish coming against Caledonians in 2016, while they didn’t make it in 2019 and the cup wasn’t played last season.

They secured their eighth straight league title this season and will be looking to add another cup trophy to their collection.

Denmark defeated Polonia A and Phoenix A to book their place in the cup decider.

However, Rovers will be looking to stop Denmark’s winning run and secure some silverware themselves.

Rovers have been hitting form at the right time of the season and, despite losing their first game in the cup competition, they bounced back to win their semifinal last week.

In the men’s top division, Caledonian A and Bayswater A will face off for the Federation Cup.

Caledonians have been impressive this year and only just missed out on winning the league title while Bayswater have come from the clouds to reach the cup decider.

Bayswater finished fourth in the league competition but defeated league champions Rovers twice in the cup competition to secure their place in the final.

Denmark B and Mt Barker B will meet in the women’s division two final while Bayswater and Sonics will do battle for the social competition cup title, both played tomorrow night.

On Saturday, Polonia B tackle Caldeonians B in the men’s division two cup final and in the vets/social cup final The Vets and The Old Boys will face off.
