Leicestershire have advanced to the One Day Cup quarter-finals from Group B, with Ajinkya Rahane and Australia's Peter Handscomb putting on a stand of 120 for the fourth wicket.

Handscomb hit an unbeaten 65 off 70 balls as the Foxes beat Gloucestershire by four wickets on the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method to fill second place in the group.

Warwickshire held on to third place despite losing by 12 runs to Nottinghamshire in another rain-affected contest.

Glamorgan secured a home semi-final as they beat Yorkshire Vikings by 62 runs to make it six wins out of eight and finish top of the group.

Billy Root, the brother of former England captain Joe, made 66 against his former side in a total of 9-230 from 47 overs following early rain, with Yorkshire then slumping to 168 all out.

Sussex finished bottom of the group with just one win to their name following a five-wicket defeat to Essex at Hove, where captain Tom Westley made 77 from 68 balls to lead the successful pursuit of a victory target of 227.

The battle to qualify behind Group A winners Somerset came down to the wire as Hampshire edged out Derbyshire on net run rate.

Derbyshire did all they could with a narrow victory over Durham at Chester-le-Street, where Scott Borthwick's maiden List A century (104) helped his side post 253 all out.

The visitors reached their target with seven balls to spare, with David Lloyd top-scoring with 63 from 72 balls, but Hampshire's 19-run victory at Middlesex ensured a superior net run rate.

Toby Albert contributed 75 not out as Hampshire made 7-276 from their 50 overs, with Kyle Abbott taking 4-48 as Middlesex were bowled out for 257.

Worcestershire held on to second spot in the group despite losing their last two wickets in successive balls to slip to a three-run defeat to Lancashire at Old Trafford.

India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal enjoyed a dream debut for Northamptonshire with 5-14 in an unbroken 10-over spell as hosts Kent were skittled out for just 82 at Canterbury, with the visitors cruising to their victory target for the loss of one wicket.
