Former President Donald Trump has been pictured conferring with Elon Musk at his Florida home as he is on the cusp of securing the presidency over Kamala Harris.
The Tesla CEO has been snapped at an exclusive election night party Mar-a-Lago beach resort, where he is seen chatting to an animated Mr Trump.
In the background, a TV screen shows CNN’s live election coverage with Trump ahead in the polls.

And the billionaire wasted no time sharing the snap on his X platform, writing “The future is gonna be so 🔥”.
Even before the election result was declared, Musk was boasting about gaining influence over the Federal Government during a potential Donald Trump presidency.

He took to X to share a photoshopped image of himself carrying a sink into the Oval Office, adding, “Let that sink in”.
It’s a reference to when he took over the social media company Twitter, now X, and began shaking up operations.
Musk had reportedly been seen speaking to supporters at a nearby convention centre soon after.
He is a steadfast Trump supporter and has appeared alongside Trump at some of his rallies.
He has also committed millions of dollars to a pro-Trump “political action committee” (PAC).
Trump has said Musk, the world’s richest man, would help him streamline government.
