A crash on Roe Highway southbound before Great Eastern Highway bypass, Hazelmere has been cleared but traffic remains heavy.

The highway has been cleared and is no longer reduced to a single lane but motorists are still backed up for several kilometres.

Drivers are urged to approach with caution.
