There is plenty of free family-friendly fun this weekend at Burswood Park’s WA Day Festival.

The much anticipated festival started Sunday morning with thousands of West Aussies celebrating what makes this State great.

Over the next two days there will be something for everyone at the expanded event at Burswood Park and Optus Stadium.

Catch the State’s biggest drone lightshow, fireworks, carnival rides and live music from big names including Amy Shark and Eurovision finalists Voyager.

Throughout the celebrations, West Australians can immerse themselves in Indigenous storytelling with an anthology of four short films about Whadjuk Noongar history.
