Two fishermen missing near South Australia’s Boatswain Point
A large-scale search operation is underway after two fishermen failed to return from checking their craypots.
Water police, SES volunteers, a helicopter unit and local fishermen are all scouring the waters near Boatswain Point, about 330km south of Adelaide.
The alarm was raised just before 2.30pm on Tuesday, South Australian Police said on Tuesday.
Boatswain is located in the state’s Limestone Coast region, close to the Victorian border.
More to come.
