Heavy traffic on Kwinana Freeway after soil spill across all lanes

Vehicles are backed up on a busy Perth freeway following a spill across all lanes during peak hour traffic.

Soil has spilled from a truck on Kwinana Freeway heading southbound before South Terrace in South Perth, reducing the road to a single lane.

Main Roads WA warned traffic was slow on approach as vehicles had to merge into one lane.

An incident response and clean-up crew are currently on site to clear the soil from the freeway.
