A newsagency in Perth’s north is celebrating its third division one win in just two weeks after a player took home more than $1 million in Saturday’s Lotto draw.

Bishop Street Newsagency sold the ticket that matched all winning numbers, earning one Morley player the eye-watering $1,044,169 division one prize.

The player was one of five division one winners across the country — including one South Australian and three Victorians.

Last weekend, two West Australians won big in the Saturday Lotto, taking home a whopping $952,380.96 from the same Morley newsagency.

The exciting news comes after the State celebrated its first Set for Life winner for 2024 on Friday.

After purchasing a ticket from Northam Central Newsagency, the winner will pocket $20,000 a month for the next twenty years.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender remarked WA has been on a roll.

“What a great weekend for WA. A Friday player is now set for life, and a third Saturday Lotto win is in Morley,” she said.

“This brings the Division One tally for the year to 29, with 16 of those wins thanks to Saturday Lotto.”

West Australians’ next chance to hit the jackpot comes with a $30 million Powerball draw this Thursday.

Players can purchase tickets via the Lotterywest website, in-store, or on the Lotterwest app until Thursday evening.
