Eastern Goldfields Kart Club siblings Aiden and Joshua Nicholls produced standout efforts at last weekend’s annual Dash For Cash at the West Kalgoorlie headquarters, among a talented field of 135 drivers.

Competing in the TAG restricted medium division, Aiden was the top qualifier and capped off an unbeaten display with victory in the final, also setting a new lap record.

Joshua emulated those deeds by winning the TAG restricted light Dash For Cash and also setting a new lap record.

They each put an exclamation mark on a stellar weekend by being crowned winners of the State Series in their respective divisions.

Other local standouts included Matt Coburn, who finished third in the TAG restricted medium class.

Ryder Scott was third in the Cadet 9 division, TAG heavy driver Aaron McGregor was second, and Nathan Lee was the State Series leader in the TAG heavy division.

The club’s final meeting is on Saturday, starting at 1pm.

Drivers will resume full-scale competition on Australia Day for the opening round of the 2025 State Series.
