The Gap closes for Easter

The Gap will not be accessible to the public this Easter weekend.

A Department of Parks and Wildlife spokeswoman said poor weather had delayed the upgrades that have been in progress since November 2014.

“The current wet weather is not conducive to completing some of the works, therefore it will not be opened to the public for the Easter weekend,” she said.

DPaW will be introducing entry fees on April 4 for the Torndirrup and West Cape Howe National Parks, along with Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve.

Local residents will receive a discounted entry fee that covers a 12-month period.
