The 2016 Regional Telethon Home by WA Country Builders in Denmark will be open for public viewing this weekend.

It is the 11th Telethon home built by WA Country Builders and is in Springdale Beach Estate.

WA Country Builders general manager Todd McGregor said the design this year was drawn by the business’ talented design team and was designed specifically for the block.

“It takes into consideration the contours of the block, views and aspect of the block to make best use of the northerly aspect and the home blends beautifully with the surroundings and features bush poles and natural materials,” he said.

“The home has four bedrooms and two bathrooms and boasts three living areas and is designed as a zoned home with the central living area as social hub of the home, which is voluminous with high ceilings, a modern kitchen with scullery, and opens to the rear alfresco and front deck.”

Telethon homes have been built in the Albany region in the past but this one differs as it is a rural design and was built on a 3095sqm block. Mr McGregor said the Telethon home was traditionally a property people loved to come and look at as a weekend activity.

Proceeds from the sale will go to Telethon.

“We would encourage anyone with an interest in building to come along to see just what WA Country Builders can build and we also welcome people who love to look at great design, interior design and people interested in beautiful furnishings,” he said.
