My Kitchen Rules judge Colin Fassnidge will be appearing at this year’s Taste Great Southern, which begins tonight and runs for the next three weeks.

Fassnidge will host Lunch by the Lake at Denmark Lake House this Sunday.

“I’ll be sending across my recipes and then helping out on the day in the kitchen, plus doing the front of house,” he said

Fassnidge will also be attending the Rockcliffe Night Harvest Market and working in collaboration with another celebrity chef.

“I’ll be doing two cooking demonstrations with Anna Gare, so that should be fun,” he said.

The Irish-born chef said it had been a while since he had visited the Great Southern.

“A long time ago, I was down in the region — my wife and I got a campervan in Perth and drove to Sydney, so we spent some time in the Great Southern during that trip,” he said.

Fassnidge won GQ Magazine’s Chef of the Year in 2013 and released his first cookbook, Four Kitchens, in 2014.
