Fire warning for SW residents

Bushfire advice has been issued for eastern part of Walpole Nornalup National Park in the Shire of Denmark by the Department of Parks and Wildlife

A bushfire advice has been issued for people within the vicinity of Nut Road and South Coast Highway in Walpole Nornalup National Park.

Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.

The fire started near the intersection of South Coast Highway and Nut Road as a result of escape material from a private property burn, it is currently small and controllable.

No roads have been closed.
