Cars clocked 90km/h over speed limit
Two drivers are facing reckless driving charges after police caught them speeding at more than 90km/h over the speed limit on Sunday.
Mt Barker police impounded two Audi SUVs after allegedly detecting them both travelling at
171km/h north of Mt Barker on Albany Highway in the afternoon.
Both cars were impounded for 28 days.
Police say both cars were on route to Denmark from Perth, with one being returned to a customer.
Both drivers were charged with one count of reckless driving and have been summoned to appear in court at a later date.
