Campers lucky Albany escape

Four people had a lucky escape after their vehicle hit a tree near Albany today.

Emergency services rushed to the accident at the Albany Highway and Millbrook Road intersection in Redmond about 12.20pm.

It is understood the orange Wicked Campers hire campervan was travelling south and hit a tree on the left side of the road.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

A man, woman and two female children were travelling in the vehicle.

Each passenger is currently in a stable condition at Albany Health Campus
