Alicia Molik celebrates local tennis

One hundred years of local tennis was toasted at a classy civic reception at the City of Albany last Friday.

The Lawley Park Tennis Club celebrated its 100th birthday and hosted former world number eight Alicia Molik and her husband Tim Sullivan.

Ms Molik presented retrospective life membership pins to club members Graeme Heal and Keith Choules and an honorary membership to Clare Dolzadelli for her work organising the celebrations.

City of Albany Mayor Dennis Wellington and club president Craig Lloyd spoke on club achievements.
