Jolimont incident: 11-year-old hit by car, taken to Perth Children’s Hospital with serious injuries

An 11-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Jolimont. WA Police and St John WA paramedics were called to the scene of an incident near Hay and Jersey streets just before 6pm on Saturday. It is understood an 11-year-old child was hit by a car in the area, which is near a McDonalds’ restaurant and petrol station. While police are still investigating the incident, it is suspected to have been an accident. The child arrived at Perth Children’s Hospital with serious injuries just before 6.30pm.
