Man doused in petrol, set on fire at Beaufort Street soup kitchen, alleged attacker on the run
Emergency crews have descended on a soup kitchen on Beaufort Street after a man was doused in petrol and set alight.
According to 7NEWS, the man received significant burns to his face and hands after the incident tonight.
A witness who was in the kitchen at the time said good Samaritans were able to get the man into the shower before emergency crews arrived.
The 63 year-old-victim was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Police have not yet charged anybody over the incident — another man is reportedly on the run.
