AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:

* There have been 50,952,756 vaccine doses administered in the national COVID-19 rollout up to Friday, including 248,477 recorded in the previous 24 hours.

* Of that total, 31,589,065 have been administered by commonwealth facilities, an increase of 195,954 in the previous 24 hours.

* State and territory facilities have administered 19,363,691 vaccines, an increase of 52,523 in the past 24 hours.

* More than 95.7 per cent of people aged 16 and over have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 93.65 per cent are double vaccinated.

* A total of 8,838,517 adults have received more than two doses - a booster or top-up shot - an increase of 207,231 in the previous 24 hours.

AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* 27,844 new cases: 8389 in NSW, 7810 in Victoria, 8508 in Queensland, 1289 in South Australia, 372 in the ACT, 483 in Tasmania, 968 in the Northern Territory and 25 in Western Australia.

* The national death toll is 4156 (+81): NSW 1538 (+18), Victoria 2165 (+41), Queensland 268 (+21), South Australia 127 (+2), ACT 28 (+one), NT four, Tasmania 19 and WA nine. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Cases: at least 390,673,177

* Deaths: at least 5,724,794

* Vaccine doses administered: 10,026,632,095.
