Truck fire on Albany Highway

A truck fire forced the closure of Albany Highway near Kendenup overnight

The truck fire occurred after midnight at Beattie Road and was attended by police and Mt Barker Volunteer Fire and Rescue.

The fire originally blocked the highway before the northbound lane was open under traffic management at 2.30am while the southbound lane remained blocked.

Main Roads advises motorists to proceed with caution.
