Time to get outdoors with upgrades at Cosy Corner and Torbay Inlet now complete
Campers keen to pitch a tent at Cosy Corner and Torbay Inlet can make their plans to get outdoors with works at the sites now complete.
Not long after COVID-19 camping restrictions were lifted, both sites were closed for upgrades.
The Torbay camp site, which reopened this week, has undergone road maintenance, traffic calming and revegetation works.
There has also been new signage installed.
Similar upgrades were carried out at the Cosy Corner camp site this month.
City of Albany manager city reserves Jacqui Freeman said the works had brought the city’s most popular camp sites up to a standard consistent with the City’s nature-based camping strategy and action plan.
