It was all smiles and rainbows at Eyre Park on Saturday, despite a light drizzle of rain, as Albany Pride hosted its We Are Family Picnic as part of its two-week festival.
There was plenty to do, with balloon creations of all kinds, giant bubbles, oversized jenga and plenty of streamers for the little ones.
A bright rainbow photo wall, created by Denmark artist Josephine Lebbing, was set up for friends and family to snap pictures in front of, while live music was provided by local musician Chrsitine Kershaw.
Food stalls serving everything from fish and chips to fairy floss and ice cream could be found around the picnic, keeping attendees who didn’t pack their own lunch well fed.
