Roadworks under way at Middleton Beach

Marine Drive from the lookout to Flinders Parade is now closed for the next eight weeks as Tricoast Civil undergo significant roadworks as part of the Middleton Beach redevelopment.

Tricoast Civil operations manager Damon Lawrence said the extensiveness of the works required road closures for an extended period.

“The road closure is allowing us to realign Adelaide Terrace and Marine Drive over the coming months,” he said

“There are some fairly major works going on in that area so that’s why we need to have the road closed off for that period.”
