Albany’s Connor Moseley will take to the field for the WA Para soccer team when the national championships kick off in Sydney today.

Moseley represented Australia’s national paraplegic soccer team, the Pararoos in July.

He was one of three WA players selected and also plays locally in the Albany Junior Soccer Association.

Mosley had to juggle studying at Bethel Christian School and travelling to Perth to try out for the WA team.

The 16-year old Moseley was diagnosed with mild right-sided hemiplegia when he was two.

Moseley was a junior finalist in the 2018 Albany Sportsperson of the Year award.

At last year’s national championships he was awarded the young player of the tournament.

The championships will run from today through to Sunday.
