The Albany Junior Cricket Association under-16 Twenty20 competition has wrapped up after the final double-header of games was held last Sunday at the North Road cricket grounds.

Kings finished at the top of the T20 standings, with 67.05 points to narrowly edge out Redbacks on 66.17.

Both sides finished with a record of five wins and one loss from their six matches.

Redbacks won both games on the final day, beating Warriors by seven wickets in the early game and then making 4-115 batting first against the same side in the second match-up.

Oliver Pluckhahn starred with the blade in the second match, making an unbeaten 52 to help set up the win.

Kings won both their encounters with Scorchers.

First up, a terrific bowling display restricted Scorchers to 7-77. Kings passed the total with only three wickets down.

Scorchers made 7-76 in the second match and this time Kings lost just two wickets before securing victory, going on to post 6-109.

Charlie Walters top-scored with 33 and Noah Middleton was 22 not out.
