IN PICTURES: Teams come together for end of Lower Great Southern Bowling League ladies pennants season

Teams from around the region came together at Middleton Beach Bowling Club on Saturday to wrap up another successful ladies’ pennant season. More than 100 people were on hand for lunch and presentations to close the ladies’ competition in the Lower Great Southern Bowling League. The chair of the LGSBL ladies’ match committee did the presentations after players enjoyed some lunch following their final-round matches. It was a close finish to the pennant competition in both first and second divisions. Mt Barker Golf claimed the title after a thrilling final round of games in first division while in second division Emu Point Purple snatched overall victory after a strong final round.
