IN PICTURES: Strong crowd gathers at Albany’s Anzac race meeting headlined by WA qualifier of Jericho Cup

A strong crowd was on hand to witness Albany Racing Club’s Anzac-themed meeting on Sunday. As the city geared up for another big year of Anzac commemorations, hundreds were trackside at Percy Spencer Racecourse. The $100,000 TABtouch The Road To Jericho Cup WA Qualifier was the on-track highlight. Off the track, there was a special Anzac service prior to the running of the feature race as the ode was read out and the Australian flag was raised in front of respectful spectators. The Races WA (RWWA) also held a function on the day, with money raised going to the Albany RSL.
