IN PICTURES: Albany Basketball Association night of nights draws league’s best for senior awards ceremony

More than 100 Albany and Basketball Association players, coaches and representatives gathered at the Hilton on Friday to celebrate their highest senior grade’s best players from the 2023-24 season. As the competition enters the final week of the season and players gear up for a shot at premiership glory, they took a moment to reflect on the season and highlight the outstanding players across the league’s 10 senior grades. Denmark star Danielle Carne was named most valuable player of the women’s A-grade after her sensational season, while Sonics’ Mark Elentorio was heralded as the men’s A-grade MVP. Patrons enjoyed flowing beverages and sumptuous platters throughout the evening before DJ Kevin took over the speakers. The ABA will host the grand finals on Friday night.
