Man charged with murder over Tambellup death

A man has been charged with murder after a death in the Great Southern town of Tambellup at the weekend.

Police were called to a house on the Great Southern Highway, near Crawford Street, about 12.20am yesterday.

They arrived to find a 60-year-old man’s body.

A 41-year-old man, who was known to the victim, has been charged with murder.

He is due to appear at Katanning Magistrate’s Court today.

Tambellup is about 25km north-east of Cranbrook.
