Higgs and Pavlovich out to claim more Classic success

Five-time winner Gary Higgs and recently crowned State champion Chris Pavlovich will headline a big field of drivers for this Saturday’s Super Sedan Classic at Mt Barker Speedway.

Les Gorman Park will be the venue for the annual super sedan feature event comprising heat races and finals.

Last season Higgs won his fifth Mt Barker Super Sedan Classic title.

He triumphed over Damon Trouchet and Pavlovich.

Pavlovich is also a multiple winner of the classic on his home track, having won the race in 2013, 2015 and 2016.

The Mt Barker local powered to a superb win in the WA Super Sedan Title in Narrogin recently.

Pavlovich was also on the podium of the most recent round of the Super Sedans WA Summer Series.

Kevin Bell was the victor of that round in Collie.

He is another driver to watch along with the likes of former State champion Warren Minshull, Kyle Larson, Adyme Harvey and Nathan Thiele.

Gates open at 10am and racing starts at 1pm.

Production sedans, street stocks and junior sedans the support divisions also in action.
