Albany Advertiser

Growers in the Great Southern severely affected by February’s flooding can access disaster relief funding.

The Federal and State governments announced on Friday the funding available to primary producers from Lake Grace to Ravensthorpe devastated by the flooding which claimed two lives.

More than $80 million in production was lost during the disaster.

Grants will cover clean-up, including salvaging crops, replacing pastures, purchasing fodder and repairing damaged machinery and equipment.
