The first signs of the upcoming cruise season will be seen next week, but it won’t be until the middle of next month that the first big liner is expected to reach Albany’s port.

Between November and June, there are 12 visits scheduled visits by cruises, ranging in capacity from as few as 120 passengers to more than 2500, set to dock at the port.

Coral Geographer will drop anchors off Albany next Wednesday, but a visit from the Coral Princess on November 13 will be the first time of the season a large liner will carry passengers to the port.

Silver Whisper, Regatta and Azamara Journey are all scheduled to arrive in December carrying between 388 to 824 passengers.

Regatta will return in January and Azamara Journey will also be back in February, two days before Volendam carries about 1500 passengers to Albany.
