The Ken Taylor trophy is awarded to the local member scoring the most points in any division. Herbert powered to victory in two of the four street stock races, including the 12-lap final.

Herbert crossed the line 5.133sec. ahead of Brad Carroll in the final with Paul Bowman in third place.

Mike Kinnear and Shane Devonshire were second and third on points in the production sedans.

In the juniors Bryden Southwell enjoyed a clean sweep, winning every race to collect 144 points and defeat Hope Batchelor (112).

Local Chris Pavlovich won the 15-lap super sedan final, edging out Lee Aylett and Tony St Jack but it was Aylett who was the overall points winner, beating Pavlovich by a single point.
