Albany sweethearts Darcy Cameron and Adriana Guevara stepped out on the red carpet at the Brownlow Medal for the very first time.

The young WA couple attended the AFL’s night of nights at Crown Palladium on Monday, Cameron joining his Collingwood teammates at the 2024 count.

He was part of the Magpies’ magical premiership in 2023 and this year was recognised for a stellar year with selection in the All-Australian squad.

Although Cameron didn’t poll any votes despite his outstanding year on the field, he and his fiance certainly turned heads on the red carpet.

The pair were flooded with love on Instagram posts of their first appearance on big night.

Guevara stunned in a sheer halter neck bedazzled dress with silver sequins from Cassandra Renee and styled by Hannah Arceri.

The fabric of her dress was hand beaded for month leading up and then 120 hours to sew it with the sequins.

She accessorised with a custom-made silver clutch and dainty earrings and bracelet for the big occasion.

Cameron couldn’t wipe the smile from his face with his fiance on his arm as they walked in, sporting a smart black tuxedo from Mezclub.

There was even a moment with eventual Brownlow Medal winner Patrick Cripps before the count, Guevara snapped in a photo with the Carlton superstar and WA-bred midfielder in their hotel room before he went on to win the AFL’s highest individual honour for a second time.

It will be a big fortnight for the glamour couple with Cameron and Guevara set to attend the Magpies fairest and best awards, the Copeland Trophy on October 4 where the dominant ruckman is tipped to poll well.
