Three current State champions will be in Albany this Saturday night as part of a bumper night of action, with three major feature races to be contested at Attwell Park Speedway.

The $5000 to win South Coast Classic for modified sedans will be one of the highlights on the night, along with the $2000 to win Amazing Albany Production 5000 event.

A big field of drivers will also contest the formula 125 feature as well to cap the large night of racing.

Formula 125 State champion Sam Jewell has nominated to race, while recently crowned production sedan champion Barry Rose will make the trip down.

Anthony King, who won the WA Modified Sedan title last weekend in Narrogin, will be the third titleholder at the venue on the same weekend.

A big field of 20 cars have entered for the Amazing Albany Production 5000, including Kyle Sayer, Coby Stevens, Drew Ogle, Kane Mcdiarmid, Frank Does and local star Ron Belfield.

King heads a list of 18 nominations for the South Coast Classic, including defending champion Matt Noakes, along with State title placegetters Rick Musarra and Miranda Ball.

Sam Jewell is expected to face tough competition from Darren Cartwright, Jacinta Tester, Braiden Jewell, Bill Beeck and Nathen Tester in the formula 125 feature.

Racing will start early at 5pm and gates open at 3pm, with street stocks and junior sedans also on the program.
