The Mt Barker Wine Producers Association will be at the event, with five wineries from the region exhibiting their produce for tasting and purchase.

The event will also feature a fashions on the field competition, children’s entertainment, live music, and food and drink stalls.

The club is holding a race day luncheon inside their main pavilion, helping to raise money for the fight against motor neurone disease.

Prizes have been donated for a fundraising auction at the luncheon.

Tickets are $110 per person including entry, buffet lunch, drink on arrival and a race book.

Mt Barker Turf Club secretary and Grapes and Gallops manager Raylene Ross said it promised to be another great day.

“We are expecting a big crowd, the response so far has been pretty good,” Ms Ross said.

“If you want a good day out with the family, come along.
