Albany Lions claimed a thrilling victory in the Great Southern Under-13s Carnival contested by four teams on Sunday.

The carnival has been running since 2010 and wasn’t held last year because of COVID-19.

Two teams from Albany, one from the Ongerup Football Association, and a combined Denmark-Mt Barker side battled it out in the round robin competition.
