The Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre will close for two days later this month for essential maintenance at the City of Albany facility.

The front carpark and entrance via Barker Road will be closed from April 12-27 while the carpark is resurfaced and upgrades are made to the front of the building.

The public can access the building via the eastern carpark on Sanford Road and enter using the doors to Court 5.

The centre will close for two days from April 20-21 for major plumbing works.

City of Albany community services executive director Nathan Watson said interruptions would be temporary.

“These works will provide a better ALAC experience and we thank the community for its patience and understanding over the next few weeks,” he said.

“We’ve put a lot of planning into the timing of the works to minimise disruptions to our usual programming as much as possible.”
