Albany Highway closed and man in RAC helicopter 2:20pm update
The RAC Rescue helicopter is taking a man to Royal Perth Hospital after a car collided with a motorcycle on Albany Highway.
Albany Highway remains closed near Williams after the collision and vehicle fire 300m north of Extracts Road.
The incident was reported at 12:11pm and emergency services are on scene and firefighters extinguished a scrub fire that resulted from the crash.
The emergency rescue helicopter is expected to land at the hospital around 2.30pm.
A detour through Boddington is in place.
Easter Monday is one of the busiest days of the year for the road that links Albany to Perth.
