After giving crowds a taste of what to expect at the AFL grand final this weekend, Robbie Williams will be back for an Australian tour next year.

And Perth fans will get a chance to see Williams in the Swan Valley when he headlines A Day on the Green at Nikola Estate on December 1, 2023.

“Kylie, please come and sing with me. I’d love it if you did,” Williams said, adding: “I cannot confirm or deny I will be singing a song that isn’t a Robbie Williams song. I’ll just put that out there.”

And AFL boss Gillon McLachlan did little to dispel the rumours when asked on Tuesday if the princess of pop would be hitting the stage with Williams.

“There is a surprise, that’s all I can say, and he will be joined,” McLachlan said.

Williams latest album XXV gave him his 14th No.1 record in the UK, a record for a solo artist — the only act with more is The Beatles with 15.

As part of next year’s Australian tour, Williams will perform at A Day on the Green in Perth, Geelong and Mount Cotton in Queensland, as well as at solo shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 30.
