Perth’s Resources Technology Showcase 2019 Public Exhibition: Can you survive RMT’s risky ship simulation?
Immerse yourself in the engine room of a ship and navigate your way safely to the helo deck.
There will be alarms, risk assessments and solutions throughout your journey, and when complete you will have test-driven one of the world’s most advanced predictive artificial intelligence modules.
This cutting-edge simulation will be part of Risk Management Technologies’ display at this month’s Resources Technology Showcase exhibition.
Dean Apostolou, RMT’s managing director, said the new web-based technology was a powerful tool which gave businesses critical insight into economic and technical hazards.

Mr Apostolou said the new software presented predictive risks for many scenarios within the oil, gas, aviation, rail and mining sectors.
Teams of toxicologists, chemists, environmental scientists, industrial hygienists and safety experts have collected more than 20 years of incident data so the new models could be recreated with measured accuracy.
“The premise of augmented predictive risk management is to use data mining and machine learning to give insight into ‘what is the hidden state of the system’ and ultimately reducing the risk profile of the workplace,” he said.
“It covers everything from tripping on a cable to an explosion on a mine site. And it’s the bigger corporations that need these kinds of insights because of the scale of potential hazards.”
Visitors to the showcase will be able to take a hands-on look at the 3D predictive modelling via a “touch and dig-in” presentation.
RMT’s new reductive insights module can be found at Booth 5.
The free showcase exhibition will be open between 9am-4.30pm on November 27-28 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
